ConstructPC is a small, independent PC business based in Northwich, Cheshire, serving customers across the North West with custom desktop builds, upgrades, selected laptop work, fixed-price maintenance services and carefully sourced tech.
The aim is simple: honest advice, well-selected parts, careful workmanship and systems built around real customer needs — without unnecessary upselling or confusing jargon.
Whether you need a new custom desktop, a practical upgrade, a system clean, a software refresh or clear advice on whether something is worth repairing, ConstructPC is built around doing things properly.
Behind ConstructPC
ConstructPC is run by Lewis Martin, with years of hands-on experience building, upgrading and troubleshooting desktop systems.
My background has always combined technical interest, discipline and attention to detail — from aviation and pilot training, to endurance challenges such as climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. I have always been drawn to things that require preparation, problem-solving and doing things properly.
That same mindset shaped ConstructPC. A good PC is not just about choosing expensive parts. It is about understanding what the system needs to do, selecting components that make sense together, assembling everything carefully, testing it properly and making sure the customer understands what they are getting.
Why ConstructPC exists
ConstructPC was created to offer a more personal alternative to rushed, one-size-fits-all advice and off-the-shelf systems that may not suit the person using them.
Many people know they want a better PC, but do not always know which parts matter, what is worth paying for, or what can be safely avoided. ConstructPC is built around making that process clearer, calmer and more practical.
The goal is not to sell the most expensive option. The goal is to recommend the right option.
How I work
I take a practical, honest approach to every job.
That means understanding what you need first, then recommending parts, upgrades, maintenance or repair options that make sense for your budget and intended use.
For custom builds, systems are carefully assembled, cable-managed, tested and checked before handover or delivery.
For upgrades, diagnostics and maintenance services, the focus is on improving what is worthwhile — not replacing parts unnecessarily.
If something does not make sense, I’ll say so clearly. The aim is to provide a system or solution that is right for you, not simply the most expensive option.
