These services are intended for practical cleaning, diagnostics, software refreshes and general system health checks. They do not include board-level repair, micro-soldering, liquid-damage reconstruction or non-modular laptop repairs.
ConstructPC primarily supports customers across Cheshire, Greater Manchester and the wider North West, with enquiries from further afield considered where practical.

Ready-To-Go Services
A fixed-price physical clean and thermal maintenance service for desktops and selected laptops.
Includes internal inspection and cleaning appropriate to the device type, accessible dust removal, fan and vent cleaning, cable tidying where applicable, and CPU thermal paste replacement where suitable.
Laptop access varies by model. Some devices allow straightforward maintenance, while others require more invasive disassembly or may not be suitable. If your device is not suitable for this service, we will explain this clearly before proceeding.
A fixed-price diagnostic and software refresh service for desktops and selected laptops.
Includes Windows health checks, startup and performance review, driver checks, software troubleshooting, BIOS/firmware guidance where appropriate, and practical recommendations for improving stability and speed.
Where suitable and agreed, this may include a Windows refresh, reset or reinstall. Customers should back up important files before any software, storage or operating system work begins.
Combines the System MOT & Deep Clean and Fault Diagnostics & Software Refresh in one fixed-price workshop visit for one desktop or selected laptop.
Ideal for systems that are physically dusty, running hot or noisy, while also feeling slow, unstable, cluttered or error-prone in Windows.
Includes applicable checks and maintenance from both services, subject to device type, condition, internal design and safe access.
Bought separately, these two services are £80. Bundle price: £60.

Before booking
Service suitability depends on the device type, model, condition and internal design. Laptop access varies significantly, and some models may not be suitable for thermal maintenance or internal cleaning without more invasive disassembly.
Customers should back up important files before diagnostics, Windows refreshes, storage-related work or software repairs. ConstructPC will take reasonable care, but data preservation is not guaranteed unless a separate backup or transfer service is agreed in writing.

ConstructPC is based in Davenham, Northwich, and primarily supports customers across Cheshire, Greater Manchester and the wider North West, with enquiries from further afield considered where practical. Enter your postcode on any enquiry or booking form to receive immediate guidance based on your approximate distance from our workshop.

Locations up to 30 miles from our workshop fall within our standard service area. No additional mileage surcharge will normally apply to the agreed collection, personal handover or delivery arrangement.
All enquiries and bookings remain subject to service suitability and workshop availability.

Locations over 30 miles and up to 50 miles fall within our extended service area and can usually be accommodated where practical.
Where collection, personal handover or delivery by ConstructPC is required, an additional travel charge will apply. Acceptance remains subject to the nature of the work, workshop availability and the agreed logistics.

Enquiries from more than 50 miles away are still welcome but are not automatically accepted.
ConstructPC will review the journey, service requirements, scheduling and handover arrangements before confirming whether the work can proceed. If accepted, an additional travel charge will apply and will be agreed before payment is taken or work begins.
