Every system is carefully specified, assembled, cable-managed, tested and checked before collection, local handover or agreed delivery. Custom builds include clear advice before purchase, careful setup checks and ConstructPC build support after handover.

The ConstructPC shop will be used for carefully sourced systems, refurbished machines, selected components, accessories and other available tech.
Stock will vary, and every listing will clearly state the condition, what is included, delivery or collection options, and any applicable warranty or returns information.
Ready-To-Go maintenance services have their own dedicated page so they can be booked quickly without completing a full custom enquiry form.

Have an older desktop or suitable laptop and want to get more out of it? ConstructPC can help with practical upgrades and performance improvements across the North West. From graphics card upgrades, power supply replacements and full case rebuilds for desktops, to SSD storage upgrades, memory upgrades and selected modular laptop work, we’ll advise what is worth upgrading — and what is not.

If something is not quite right with your system, ConstructPC can help with practical fault finding, clear advice and sensible repair options.
Services may include desktop hardware diagnostics, component testing, Windows troubleshooting, driver checks, system health reviews, Windows reinstalls and BIOS or firmware guidance where appropriate.
Desktop repairs and component replacements are our main hardware focus. Laptop work is limited to selected modular parts and maintenance where suitable. We do not offer board-level repair, micro-soldering, liquid-damage reconstruction, CPU/GPU rework, trace repair, console repair or handheld repair unless expressly agreed in writing.
If we find that your machine needs work outside our current scope, we will explain this clearly and recommend the next best route. Where a paid diagnostic only confirms that the required repair is outside our scope, we will waive or refund that diagnostic fee.

Fast, fixed-price maintenance services for desktops and selected laptops — ideal when you want a clean, refresh or health check without completing a full custom enquiry form.
Choose from a System MOT & Deep Clean, a Fault Diagnostics & Software Refresh, or the Ultimate Refresh Bundle, which combines both services at a reduced bundle price.
These services are designed for practical cleaning, thermal maintenance, Windows health checks, driver review, BIOS or firmware guidance, and general performance refresh work. They do not include advanced board-level repairs or non-modular laptop repairs.
Add the service to your basket, check out securely, and we will contact you to arrange a suitable workshop slot, local handover, drop-off or agreed collection route.
Service scope depends on device design, condition, part availability and the work agreed in writing. Customers should back up important data before diagnostics, Windows refreshes, storage work or software repairs.

Service area & travel
ConstructPC is based in Davenham, Northwich, and primarily supports customers across Cheshire, Greater Manchester and the wider North West, with enquiries from further afield considered where practical. Enter your postcode on any enquiry or booking form to receive immediate guidance based on your approximate distance from our workshop.

Locations up to 30 miles from our workshop fall within our standard service area. No additional mileage surcharge will normally apply to the agreed collection, personal handover or delivery arrangement.
All enquiries and bookings remain subject to service suitability and workshop availability.

Locations over 30 miles and up to 50 miles fall within our extended service area and can usually be accommodated where practical.
Where collection, personal handover or delivery by ConstructPC is required, an additional travel charge will apply. Acceptance remains subject to the nature of the work, workshop availability and the agreed logistics.

Enquiries from more than 50 miles away are still welcome but are not automatically accepted.
ConstructPC will review the journey, service requirements, scheduling and handover arrangements before confirming whether the work can proceed. If accepted, an additional travel charge will apply and will be agreed before payment is taken or work begins.
